The Avengers

When Marvel Studios released The Avengers in 2012, it was the first superhero film in the MCU to bring all the major superheroes together to fight one villain.

The Avengers: Infinity War

The inevitable showdown between Thanos and The Avengers finally happened in The Avengers: Infinity War (2018). This was the first film of the so-called Infinity Saga, whose conclusion, The Avengers: Endgame, was released a year later in 2019.

In the final stages of the Infinity Saga, Robert Downey Jr.’s character, Tony Stark, teams up with Thor (portrayed by Chris Hemsworth), Captain Marvel, Captain America, Ant-Man, and all the other Marvel superheroes to finally defeat Thanos and his army.

Doctor Strange

Hailed for showing a different aspect of the superhero franchise, Doctor Strange was released in 2016.

Viewers loved the Master of the Mystic Arts so much that a sequel called Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness was the gem of the superhero cinema in 2022.

Spider-Man

One of the most popular stand-alone franchises of the MCU is Spider-Man. To date, three films have been released as part of the franchise’s successful run, and these are:
