In particular, Jessica Lange won two Emmys, a Screen Actors Guild, and a Golden Globe Award for her performance. James Cromwell and Kathy Bates each received an Emmy Award as well. Even Lady Gaga, who only joined the show in 2015, managed to snatch a Golden Globe for her acting. All episodes have had consistent high ratings, with the first season named as 2011 most-viewed new TV series.
